On behalf of Judd Schiffman, MFA student in at -Boulder, the Program in Jewish Studies is pleased to invite you to Schiffman's MFA thesis exhibition, BECAUSE IT COULD GET INFECTED, which opens on Friday, November 6thand runs until Thursday, November 19th, 2015.
JuddSchiffman’s studio research focuses on his own identity as it relates to contemporary Jewish American culture. His ceramic wall objects draw from diverse sources such as Seinfeld, Philip Roth, historical Jewish artifacts, family history and his own internal dialogue. In his thesis exhibition,BECAUSE IT COULD GET INFECTED,Schiffman will exhibit 15 handmade ceramic objects including a giant tube of Cortizone cream, a menorah, and a challah on wheels, each accompanied by a “spiel” which tells the story of the object,
