Student Venture Story: Nektyd

Ryan Pfeifer poses with his brother

Background

Ryan Pfeifer, a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder student, and his brother Steven are the founders of , a platform designed for innovative individuals. Steven and RyanÌýhave put in over 18-months of coding and sweatÌýto help create a go-to search platform for any service.Ìý

Problem It Solves

Nektyd wants to give the community a voice. They belive everyone should be able to find work that fits their busy schedules and monetizes theirÌýskills.

How It Works

The platform connects clients to services through an uber-for-anything model (dog walking, tutoring, babysitting, marketing, programming, snow shoveling, etc.) Through this uber-for-anything service,Ìýthey can set a fee for all work performed through their service. TheyÌýwill hire Heroes to do the work. With every job the Hero works, the Points of Contact will take a percentage.

Current State

Currently, Ryan and StevenÌýare creating inspiring videos and content to help everyone in their community get out and get inspired to accomplish anything. They want to provide value within all content they publish. Their campaign for this year is "Become a Hero." Their focus is inspiring the community with relevant everyday Heroes and motivational videos. By gaining viewers, they hope everyone sees the potential in becoming a user of Nektyd.
