Take HR's Anti-Racism Challenge
Through this anti-racism challenge sponsored by Human Resources, you will join other faculty and staff to learn about structural and behavioral norms that perpetuate systemic racial inequalities. Participants will be expected to review learning content in Canvas and participate in weekly debrief meetings. This is a self-paced and self-directed course. There is no cost to participant in this course.
Participants will be able to:
- Build their anti-racism vocabulary.
- Recognize personal obstacles to explore race and racism.
- Recognize the social barriers and discrimination against people of color.
- Recognize the costs and impact of racism to people of color.
- Build empathy and respect for others.
- Identify anti-racism organizations and experts.
- Question and challenge racism.
Who should attend?
This challenge is intended for any Boulder staff or faculty member who wants to expand their knowledge in race and anti-racism.

- To receive the most benefits of the program, it is highly recommended that participants attend three or more debrief sessions.
