Dear colleagues,Ìý
Later this morning Provost Moore and COO O’Rourke will send out an e-memo to all faculty and staff asking for their participation and support of the 2023 Faculty and Staff Engagement Survey. This survey plays a vital role in informing our ongoing efforts to improve the campus experience for all faculty and staff. We are writing to request your assistance in helping to encourage and facilitate participation in your units.Ìý
Our HR team has put together a few tips and ideas below for ways you can engage with your teams and encourage participation:Ìý
- Reserve 10 minutes during regularly scheduled meetings for faculty and staff to take the survey,
- Send a calendar invite and reminder(s) to take the survey.
- Send a teams message & reminder to your unit/department.
- Create a unit-wide challenge/contest.
- Remember the survey can be taken on a phone, tablet, or computer. It’s easy and accessible.
- Remind faculty and staff that the survey will come from the Arthur J. Gallagher Co., the vendor who is assisting us with the survey.Ìý
The success of the survey is contingent on high response rates, and we are grateful for your support in driving participation. In addition to the tips above, belowÌýare a few key talking points about the survey. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.Ìý
Sincerely,Ìý
RobynÌý
