The demographic information of our employees is used in a variety of ways, including for federal and state compliance, applying for grants and funding, and certification and accreditation. For faculty and staff, your self-reported demographic information is also used for purposes of the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA). The EPEWA states that Colorado employers shall not discriminate in their compensation practices based on sex or on the basis of sex in combination with any other protected status, such as race and ethnicity. The university’s EPEWA analysis uses the self-identified demographic information provided by employees. Thus, your responses can impact -Boulder’s compensation analysis when seeking to determine if there are inequities based on protected class and when compensation adjustments are needed.

- Log in to the
- Locate the “ Resources Home” tab in the upper left corner
- From the dropdown menu, select the “My Info and Pay” option
- Click on the “My Info” tile from the options on the page, which should also display your name and employee identification number.
- The My Info page has several menu options listed on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the “Ethnic Groups” tab to update your ethnicity and race.
- Click on the “Disability” tab to update your disability status.
- Click on the “Veteran Status” tab to update your veteran status information.
For additional guidance on this process that includes screenshots, click and select the tile, “Personal Information.” The page will display several options for updating personal information, such as mailing and home address, contact information, preferred first name, and marital status. Among the options are also displays on how to update employee disability, veteran status, and ethnic groups. Screenshots are viewed by clicking the photo icons.
