The ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Department of Human Resources encourages staff to join the campus community with the third annual Buff One Read hosted by the University Libraries and others. Below staff will find information provided by the University Libraries regarding his year’s program. Supervisors are encouraged to share the information with staff and support staff participation in the variety of meaningful opportunities. Â
The Buff One Read is a campus reading program that builds community through the shared reading of one book. The Renée Crown Wellness Institute and the Contemplative Resources Center are partnering with University Libraries to sponsor a  in celebration of this year’s book selection.
This year's book choice is The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World, authored by the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Carlton Abrams.
You can receive a copy of the book in the form of an e-book, audio, or print version. .
In addition to reading the book, the Libraries are also hosting Days of Compassion, October 9-11. Discussions and programming will take place to cultivate conversation and engagement with our ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder community. The events will feature , founder and director of the Compassion Institute and former translator to the Dalai Lama.Â
Life can be frenzied and chaotic—gain some wisdom on how to find joy amidst it all.
