Engineering Excellence Fund Accepting Applications for Mini-Grants
The Engineering Excellence Fund is now accepting applications for this year’s Fall 2019 Mini Proposals. Mini proposal awards include up to $3,000 in funding, and applications will be accepted through Oct. 17 at 11:59 p.m.
Proposals should describe the innovation and uniqueness of proposed project. Upon acceptance of a proposal, presentations must be submitted by Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m. Presentations include a three-minute presentation followed by a two-minute question and answer period. The Engineering Excellence Fund is a committee composed of six undergraduate and three graduate students from the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The group is dedicated to empowering students, faculty and staff to create an excellent and innovative environment for engineering education.
The Engineering Excellence Fund Committee funds a variety of projects in the college, including senior projects, lab upgrades, building renovations, class development, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä engineering teams and engineering projects for society. The EEF committee awards more than $1.5 million annually to students, faculty and programs. The committee comes from a variety of departments and degree programs to promote greater awareness and advocacy for the needs of all engineering students at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder. The committee is advised by three faculty/staff non-voting mentors.
