Job Description
Title: Civil Engineering Intern
Classification: Student Assistant III
Reports To: Campus Civil Engineer
Pay Range: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour
Terms: Starts immediately and can continue until graduation

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist on environmental compliance issues for the campus
- Perform periodic inspections and monitoring on campus projects
- Provide project assistance including assembling utility information, performing field surveys, assist with LEED compliance, and developing CAD drawings.
- Assist in planning and design of small civil utility and transportation projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- Civil, architectural or environmental engineering students only
- Enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student with at least 3 semesters left before graduation (summers count as one semester)
- 3.0 minimum GPA
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to work ~15 hours per week average during the semester and 15-20 hours per week during the summer
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Word
