Greene Won 3rd place in EWRI Student Technical Paper Competition
Environmental Engineering student Jack Greene (BS/MS) was just notified that he was awarded Third Place in the graduate student division of the EWRI Student Technical Paper Competition. It is especially impressive because he is still completing his undergrad requirements, and he placed in the Graduate Division. The title of his paper is "Optimization of well placement for Engineered Injection and Extraction during in situ groundwater remediation."
Jack is a senior in environmental engineering. He enjoys all things related to water and water resources. He plans on furthering his education in some form after his undergraduate career in water resources engineering, natural resources investing and water law. Jack loves to teach and play tennis as President of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Club Tennis Team and as tennis instructor the past three summers. He enjoys fly fishing, hiking and skiing and also very much enjoys bluegrass music and bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish.
