Dr. Ben Weihrauch joined ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering in January 2019 as Senior Director of Professional Student Development. Ben leads the College’s ProReady initiative, which is ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering’s commitment to the career and professional development success of students. Ben is a scholar-practitioner in higher education for 25 years across the student lifecycle, including admissions and advising, career services, employer relations, and program management.

Before ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Engineering, Ben served in leadership roles at the Colorado School of Public Health at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Anschutz Medical Campus, Community College of Denver, Michigan State University, and Minnesota State Mankato. He also worked in the private sector for a national edtech firm headquartered in the Denver Tech Center. Ben's research interests include first-generation student success, persistence and graduation outcomes, education technology, engineering education, career development and experiential learning, and DEI practice.  

Ben earned his Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity-Higher Education from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
