Kim Low and husband

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I actually grew up in South Africa and Mozambique. My parents and I lived in Southern Africa for over seven years traveling back and forth between the two countries.

One thing you’re willing to spend way too much on . . .

Travel. I try to travel as cheaply as possible so that I can see/do more, but if there is a chance to jump on a plane the purse comes out. The total number of countries I’ve been to already is 33 and counting.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Definitely online shopping. I do it when I’m stressed.

Which TV show do you never miss?

It’s not on anymore, but Madam Secretary. I still routinely watch this show on Netflix.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

My grandfather told me that “if you don’t know, don’t” which basically just means, if there is a decision in front of you and you don’t know whether to do it or not, your gut is probably trying to tell you something and it’s best to take a step back.

What do you most like to do to unwind?

I love being and talking with my husband. I can have had a horrible day, but the second I see him smile at me, everything is better. Being with him is always the easiest way to unwind from the day.
