All bikes regularly parked on campus must be registered. Register skateboards, e-scooters and other non-bicycle mobility devices with the same form.

How to Register

Register your bike at the TLCÌýor FolsomÌýBike Stations during open hours. The registration process is quick, easy and FREE!

If you cannot make it to the TLCÌýBike Station for some time, you can register online and then pick up and link the sticker. It's best to register your bike at the station. Then, we can link the sticker during the registration. The process is quick. However, it's better to register your bike so the serial number is in the database if it goes missing.

Step 1

. You'll need your bike'sÌýserial number.ÌýIt is important that you input the correct number and complete all fields.

Step 2

Open the email from Bike Index andÌýconfirm your bike registration.

Step 3

Pick up your registration stickerÌýat either Bike StationÌýor the EnvironmentalÌýCenter located on the 3rd floor of the UMC. You must present your Buff OneCard to recieve your sticker.

Step 4

Link your sticker.Ìý. *Only works after you've confirmed the registration sent earlier to your email address. Now you can scan the QR code on your sticker and link it to your registered bike.

Step 5

Place the sticker on your bike in a visible location.

Bike Registration FAQ

What if I already have a Bike Index account?

If yourÌýbike is not yet registered, fillÌýout the form above using the same email address that you use for your Bike Index account. The bike will show up in your existing Bike Index account.

If your bike is already registered in Bike Index, stop by the Bike Stations or the Environmental Center to pick up your ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Bike Index registration sticker. When you link the sticker (instructions are on the sticker backing), your bike will automatically be placed in the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä organization. No need to register the bike twice.

My bike has been stolen. Can I still register it?

Yes, you can do that with the same form. If you register it as stolen, there is a chance your bike will be returned to you.
