1. Jan. 1, 1991, Orange Bowl: The Buffs defeat Notre Dame 10-9, solidifying themselves as National Champions.
2. Sept. 24, 1994: ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä comes back from a seemingly impossible deficit to win 27-26 on a play forever known as, "The Miracle at Michigan."
3. Oct. 25, 1986: For the first time in 19 years, the Buffs beat No. 3 ranked Nebraska 20-10.
4. Nov. 28, 1959: ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä defeats Air Force 15-7 at Folsom. In the stands sits a young John F. Kennedy, invited by football legend Byron White (Econ'38)
5. Nov. 4, 1989: No. 3 Nebraska loses at Folsom to the No. 2 Buffaloes. The final score, 27-21, and the phrase "Things have changed," remains on the scoreboard all weekend.
6. Sept. 26, 1970: No. 18 ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä crushes No. 4 Penn State 41-13 on national television. Linebacker Phil Irwin (Acct'71) donned the cover of next week's Sports Illustrated.
7. Jan. 1, 1957, Orange Bowl: Dal Ward coaches the Buffaloes to a 27-21 victory over Clemson in ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä's first bowl victory.
8. Oct. 11, 1924: Playing their first game in the new Colorado Stadium, now Folsom Field, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä beats Regis 39-0.
9. Nov. 23, 2001: It's the score everyone's heard before, No. 14 ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä beats No. 2 Nebraska 62-36.
10. Nov. 10, 1934: Before a 7-6 victory over Utah, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä made a special homecoming announcement: From that day forward, the team would be known as the Buffaloes.
