Cradling a New Sport
In January athletic director Mike Bohn announced the addition of women’s lacrosse that will begin varsity play in the 2013-14 academic year.In the December 2011 edition of theColoradan, Bohn said he thought “women’s lacrosse seems to be gaining a lot of momentum.”The last sport to join the athletic department’s lineup was the women’s soccer team, which began varsity play in 1996.
