Wireless Rode Mic

Video Tutorial: Wireless Rode Mic

Included in the bag

  • Transmission node

  • Reciever node

  • XLR to ¼” inch cable

  • ¼” to ¼" inch cable

  • Lavalier

  • Batteries are not included in the bag, and must be provided by the user

To open the battery compartment just press this black button and slide the back panel downwards.

Take the two wireless nodes from the bag and start by inserting two double-a batteries into each node.

Turn on each node by holding down the power button until it lights up green

This light displays red on the power button that means the microphone is muted. The button gets bumped andso to unmute you're just going to press this button to the left until the light turns green.

Both nodes battery level will display on the front of the receiver note attached to your camera. This will allow you to know whether your microphone is about to die if it is at just one of the three battery quadrants .

Best Practice Always use freshly charged batteries, and always having some extra ones nearby. This can be accomplished with rechargeable AA batteries.

Place both nodes next to each other and double check that they are paired to the same channel. The system will work long as the numbers displayed on each screen match each other.

Note if those two numbers don't match, you'll need to pair the nodes

To do that you reopen the back panel on each node and you hold down this red button that's right above the batteries doing this on each node will pair them together
