Mark Heisten is a Media Research and Practice doctoral student in the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI) at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Previously, Mark served as the Advertising Strategy, Scholar-in-Residence, in the Advertising, Public Relations, and Media Design (APRD) department of CMCI. He has been an adjunct professor at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder since 2018 teaching multiple courses: Account Management, Brand Solutions, Brands & Culture, Consumer Insights, Intro to Branding, and Strategic Communications/Campaigns.
Mark has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in strategic communication and business development for some of the world's biggest global brands including Apple, Adobe, Chicago Bulls, Microsoft, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Schwab, and Visa among many others. His programs have recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Digital Marketing Association (DMA).
Mark earned his BA in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri and his MBA from Santa Clara University.
