Matthew Nesselrodt is a master's student in the English department, with a focus on the existential impact of technology on individual and group wellness. His research is interdisciplinary, combining computational and qualitative methods to investigate human-computer interaction, personal informatics, and technology’s influence on education.
During the 2024-2025 academic year, Matthew will serve as the Instructional Practices Support Specialist (IPSS) Graduate Assistant withÌýASSETTÌýat theÌýCenter for Teaching and Learning. In this role, he will organize and conduct assessments of instructional practices as part of theÌýVisualizing Instructional PracticesÌýservice and research ways to enhance educational methods within the College of Arts and Sciences at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder through technological advancements.
Before studying at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder, Matt received a bachelor's degree in film and media studies from Colorado College.Ìý In the summers, when he's not teaching for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder's Upward Bound program, he can be found hiking, climbing, juggling, playing guitar, writing short stories, and even carving stones— but very slowly and unskillfully, he assures us all.
