Meet Emily Brown, Instructional Practices Support Assistant. She is a current Social Psychology PhD Student at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Arcadia University with a minor in Global Public Health. Her research focuses broadly on stereotyping and prejudice, particularly Women in STEM, with an intersectional lens. She is dedicated to improving all aspects of teaching through her research, through being a teaching assistant in the Psychology department, and the work done at ASSET. She assists with conducting classroom observations for ASSETT’s Visualizing Instructional Practices Service as well as ad hoc projects. When she is not working, Emily enjoys walks with her partner and 2 dogs, paddleboarding, playing softball and coaching little kid's soccer.
