¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäChange is very grateful to have the opportunity to host Laila Arzouni, undergraduate student from the University of Florida as part of the National Institute on Drug Abuse .
The program is designed for undergraduate students across the country (upon successful application) to be placed in participating NIDA-funded university research labs and receive research experience with a focus on increasing underrepresented populations in drug abuse and addiction research.
Under the supervision of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäChange Co-Director, Dr. Angela Bryan, Laila has been working within the CHROME/SONIC/AMBER team and assisting with literature searches, participant recruitment, screening and scheduling, and helping to run participant research visits. Laila is also completing her own research project using data from the SONIC project while she is with us.
It has been a pleasure to host Laila at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäChange and provide her with a unique research opportunity during her undergraduate degree that will most certainly be a benefit to her academic career.
