What are you going to do with that?” Linguistics career options in business, government nonprofit and tech organizations.

Please consider attending this important talk on careers for linguists this Wednesday, March 8, between 4:00 and 5:30 by Dr. Alexandra Johnstone from Georgetown University. All students working at the intersection of language and society are welcome to attend!  The talk is cosponsored by the Department of Linguistics and the talk title is: “What are you going to do with that?” Linguistics career options in business, government nonprofit and tech organizations.”

Dr. Johnston works with placing students in positions who are in the professional master’s program in language and communication at Georgetown, so she knows A LOT and is ready to share what she has learned with you.

If you plan to attend, Dr. Johnston encourages you to fill out this so she can get a better idea of who she will be speaking to and how to gear the presentation in real time to your concerns. Tell her what you would like to hear about! However, filling out the form is not necessary for attending the event. All Boulder students are invited to the event. Just show up at the zoom room at this link at 4pm on Wednesday: .
