AcademicLiveCare (ALC) - New Employee Benefit

AcademicLiveCare (ALC) provides free telehealth services, including medical and mental health appointments. This service is free to all Boulder faculty, staff and students regardless of your health insurance plan. 

What can I use AcademicLiveCare (ALC) for? 

  • Coughs/colds
  • Sinus/ear infections
  • Allergies
  • Strep throat
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Minor urgent care appointments

 

  • Stress management
  • Therapy and counseling
  • Grief
  • Anxiety or depression
  • General wellness
  • Psychiatry, medication management
  • General wellness

  • Evening, weekend and after-hours appointments
  • Those traveling or working out of state
  • Those who want one-time or short-term mental health services
  • Those who want ongoing, long-term support or weekly counseling sessions

 

“Healthier U at ” Wellness Fair

Boulder faculty and staff are invited to attend the wellness fair on Wednesday, February 22nd to learn more about employee benefits, discounts, and ways to connect with programs and services. departments and community vendors will be there to share information about topics such as childcare, housing, savings on utilities, recreational programs and more. There will be hands-on wellness activities and a chance to win prizes!

Skills for mental health support training

Health & Wellness services has created 2 new trainings around mental health for faculty and staff. The first is a 15 minute training designed to give faculty and staff more information about campus resources as well as how to recoginze and respond when someone is in distress. The second training is a more in-depth 2 hour course. Both courses can be accessed through the .

Wellness Wednesdays

Join Health & Wellness Services for its newly launched Employee Wellness Wednesday series. Workshops are available for staff and faculty to engage in self-care activities, learn about campus resources, and build community. Themes rotate regularly, allowing participants to come and go as they please. Explore the schedule and register online.
