Susan has been employed at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder since November 1983, and sheÌýhas worked in many departments on campus includingÌýpayroll, parking and transportation services and ethnic studies.ÌýHer most recent job was withÌýthe Department ofÌý Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences, where she worked for sevenÌýyears as an undergraduate program coordinator, mentoring and advising undergraduate majors and minors.
SusanÌýhas touched the lives of many students, providing a warm and caring face to the departments, and she contributed greatly to student recruitment, retentionÌýand success. SheÌýwas awardedÌýa Marinus Smith AwardÌýin 2017 for positive impact on the lives of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students and their families.Ìý She also received an Equity and Excellence Staff Honorable Mention Award from ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder's Office of Diversity, Equity and Community EngagementÌýin 2008.
Susan is a Boulder native and loves spending time with her husband, Jeff, and her fourÌýadult children and two dogs.ÌýIn her spare time she loves to hike, ski, work out, travel and volunteer with Ho-Bo Boxer (dog) rescue.
